Russia launched a satellite in 2014, called Luch Olymp, but a year later it stopped functioning. Now, the satellite has resurfaced and it is on a possible collision course with a NASA satellite called Terra. If the collision happens, it could create a large debris cloud that poses a threat to other satellites. NASA is monitoring the situation closely and trying to avoid the collision by adjusting the Terra satellite’s orbit.
